blu violet Roof Bar is the rooftop restaurant situated at the top of the new Aloft Providence Downtown hotel. Check us out within the hip Innovation and Design district in downtown Providence. Our address is 191 Dorrance Street.

Blu violet is open Tues thru Thurs from 4pm-10pm, Friday - Saturdays 4pm-11pm. Check out our R&B Brunch every Sunday from 11am–5pm.

Reservations are required. Reservations for 1-2 guests will be allotted an hour and a half of seated dining time, reservations for 3-5 guests will be allotted 2 hours of seated dining time & reservations of 6 & more; will be allotted 2.5 hours. If you anticipate needing more time dining with us please make a note on the reservation and we will do our best to accommodate.

Street parking is available at blu violet. Valet parking is also available for a fee of $12 for three hours.

While we currently do not have a separate gluten free menu, we offer many of our menu items as a gluten free option and accommodate a majority of many other dietary restrictions. Ask your server about our vegan dishes.
